What you need

  • For the computer packages: the US disc edition, BCUS98472, already running in RPCS3.

  • About 3.5 GB free space during installation.
  • Second Wind uses its own copy; your normal RPCS3 game stays untouched.
  • EU editions and the US digital edition are not supported yet.

A few quick answers.

Do I need to own the game?

Yes. You need your own copy of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Check the installation guide for the supported edition and setup requirements.

Can I play on an unmodded PS3?

The published guide includes DNS instructions for online access on an unmodded PS3. Second Wind's gameplay changes, including Ranked 1v1 and community balance, require a supported modified setup.

Will this replace my normal RPCS3 setup?

The installer is designed to create a separate Second Wind game-update copy. Follow the installation guide for your platform and keep your game backups.

Is Second Wind an official release?

No. This is an independent community fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Sony Interactive Entertainment or SuperBot Entertainment. Thanks to the developers, modders and players whose work makes the revival possible. Read the project credits.
